Susan Ashe

Susan has been involved in special education for over twenty years and has taught in a variety of settings, both public and private. She has worked with children of various ages and disabilities.

Through her teaching experience she has been involved with all aspects of test administration and interpretation. Susan has designed programs, curriculum and behavior management plans to meet individual needs. She has written and implemented IEP's and worked closely with school systems, professionals and families to help develop the most appropriate plan for the child.

Susan has been trained as a parent consultant at The Federation For Children With Special Needs . She has extensive knowledge of special education laws and how they effect your child's education. Susan is able to help parents understand the special education process and advocate for their own child's unique needs.

Susan has run a family day care for many years where she cared for children with special needs. She has worked with families to provide a consistent program throughout each child's day.

Susan is a member of SPAN (Special Needs Advocacy Network) and COPAA (Council of PArent Attorneys and Advocates). She has participated in numerous workshops to remain current within the field.
