Christine works with parents of children with learning challenges negotiate with their school system to secure appropriate services and educational supports.
A child with learning challenges can easily get lost or overlooked in school. The laws protecting a child’s rights to a free public education are so overwhelming and confusing that often time parents don’t know what their children are entitled to.
Her practice is dedicated to providing parents with the ability to effectively advocate for their children. She strives to achieve the best possible outcome for your child, and also takes every effort to make the process as painless as possible, no matter how difficult the situation may be. She also has extensive experience working with families of students facing discipline proceedings to make sure they receive due process.
Christine is a graduate of Marymount University in Arlington VA with a BA in Paralegal Studies. She has completed training as a Parent Consultant/Education Advocate through the Federation for Children with Special Needs, Wrightslaw and Suffolk Law School. In addition, she is also a trained mediator.
